Most of our students are referrals from the Juvenile Court, Group Homes, the Department of Social Services, Youth Agencies and Durham Technical College. Once a student is referred from any of these organizations, we get the student’s parents or legal guardians involved and they will be responsible for coming to us and setting up an appointment.
We also take in students without referrals. If you are a high school drop-out interested in having a second chance to make things right and complete your high school education, just contact us or come visit us at our main offices. Once a student is accepted and enrolled and extends as long as it takes for the student to get his/her high school diploma. We don’t accept students who are under 16 years of age unless under extenuating circumstances like the student having been suspended from the Public School System for 365 days or more. So if you know high school dropouts in your neighborhood, tell them about our program and get them involved and back to school.
